Eligibility

We support non-profit organisations across the UK, including schools, registered charities, community interest companies and registered community groups.

Previously we have funded a wide range of initiatives including:

Providing swimwear for five inner city schools in Birmingham for Muslim children.

Providing ongoing hydrotherapy sessions for severely disabled children.

Using surf therapy to support 50 children in North Yorkshire with their mental health.

Provide over 400 swimming sessions for disabled children

Provide swimming lessons for children with AS or ADHD, aged between 7 to 11, and water-based messy play session for babies and toddlers.

Criteria

We offer grants of up to £15,000 (most are circa £5,000) to grassroots initiatives.

We are particularly interested in projects that demonstrate measurable impact in Confidence, Competence, and Cognition, the 3Cs of swimming development within a clear context.

  • Support children under 18 years old who do not have access to swimming lessons or water activities due to a lack of funding

  • Are run by non-profit organisations, including schools, charities, CICs, and community groups

  • Deliver water-related projects such as swimming lessons, hydrotherapy or water play.

  • Demonstrate measurable outcomes for children’s wellbeing through aquatic activities.

  • Have a safeguarding policy and a valid organisational bank account.

  • Demonstrate value for money.

  • Your organisation agrees to share success details of the project including photographs which can be used to promote our work.

Please note, we do not fund retrospectively.
